TICKETS NOW AVAILABLE

Hello Skiwolves!

The ski club is gearing up for an exciting day at Windham Mountain Resort for their highly anticipated Pond Skim Day event on Saturday March 25th. With the sun shining and temperatures rising, it's the perfect day for a spring ski adventure.

Note that the trip is open to all levels, whether you are a complete beginner or an expert, and that it will be our last ski & snowboard day-trip of the semester! Lift tickets for this mountain are included in the Ikon Pass, and the club won't provide tickets for people who don't have the pass.

The group is meeting bright and early at the SAC loop at 4:15 am and leaving at 4:30 am. It's important to note that they will not be stopping for breakfast along the way, so skiers/snowboarders should bring their own if they like to eat in the mornings.

The Pond Skim Day event has become a beloved tradition at Windham Mountain Resort, drawing skiers and snowboarders from far and wide to participate in the fun. It's an opportunity for everyone to showcase their skills, creativity, and sense of humor as they dress up in outrageous costumes and try to make it across the pond. If this sounds like fun to you, please register here for free: https://shop.windhammountain.com/s/specials/p/pond-skimming-registration

Anyone that needs rentals is recommended to go to https://www.windhammountain.com/plan/rentals/. Make sure you select the day of pickup for March 25th at 8:30 AM. Rental packages cost about $50 for skis/board only, and $65 for skis, boots, poles, and a helmet.

LIFT TICKETS ARE NOT COVERED ON THIS TRIP:
If you have the Ikon pass you just need the bus ticket. If you do not have an Ikon Pass please purchase tickets at: https://shop.windhammountain.com/s/lift-passes/c/lift-ticket

After a thrilling day of skiing and participating in the Pond Skim Day event, we will be stopping for dinner on the return trip and are expected to be back at Stony Brook around 9 pm.

There are 50 spots available for this trip but they will only open for a short amount of time so if you want to come you will have to sign up ASAP!  Your spot is not confirmed until you submit payment via the link above.

As always, don't hesitate to shoot us an email with any and all questions - sbuskiclub@gmail.com

We hope to see you on the slopes!
